What is The AltarLife???
that
is presented to God for His service, His plans & His purposes. Our Father God is Holy, there is
no one like
Him above, below or in this world. There
is no other Creator, no other perfect Father, there is
no one like Him!
Jesus Christ, God’s Son, came to Earth and became a man just
like us. During his earthly life, He
lived blamelessly before men on Earth, but most importantly living to please
his Father in heaven.
At the end of His
life, he accomplished what He was sent to Earth to do. The spotless Lamb chose to lay
His life down
on the altar to pay for every sin, weakness, struggle and fear that we could or
will ever have!
He did it all to glorify
God His Father! Through this amazing act
of love, we are able to live a life here
on Earth that glorifies our Heavenly
Father and through the sacrifice Jesus made, we are able to be freed from
sin
and death and live an eternal, abundant life!
As a radio show, we see our jobs as shining a bright light
on Jesus and what He has done as the perfect
example of what it means to live
the AltarLife. It is only through the
real and true understanding of who
Jesus is that we can fully know what it
means to live a life that is sold out and submitted to Jesus. We desire
to encourage each other to live the
AltarLife, that is, to be sold out to bringing Glory to our Father in heaven.
We are all human and we all have sin, weakness,
and struggle in our lives, BUT we ALL have an opportunity
to have a personal
relationship with Jesus. We ALL have the
ability to experience the joy, blessing and freedom
that comes with living the
AltarLife! There are no excuses!
If you are Christian, living the AltarLife is a challenge
for all of us to get out of our comfort zones, to stop
just being lazy
Christians! It is a challenge for us to
present our whole bodies as living sacrifices to Jesus.
It means we allow Him to conform and
transform us into what He wants us to be!
What this doesn’t mean is
that we need to start just doing religious
stuff to appease God. However, it does mean that
we need to make
ourselves available, to start living serious lives for Christ. Let’s do it together and see what God might
do with
hearts that are truly living The AltarLife!
If you are someone who has never made a decision to follow
Christ with your life, you can do this
right now! The Good News (or Gospel) is that Jesus has
already done all the hard work. He has
died for you
on the cross and rose again, beating death and sin for you! He offers it free to you right now!
You don’t need any qualifications, you don’t
need to measure up to anything, there are no strings attached!
The Bible says that all you need to do is
confess to Jesus that you are a sinner, that you believe that He died for
you
and rose again so you can be free. Just
decide right now that you want to live for Jesus and start following
Him! Ask him to forgive you and set you free! Did you do that now? Congratulations! You are in the
family of God and on your way
